Friends of Cheadle Heath Park

We are keen to encourage local residents to come together to form a Friends of Cheadle Heath Park group, to take care of the park, bring the community together to enjoy the space and to think about improvements for the future.

Cllr Matt Wynne has set up a link so that people can stay up to date with news http://eepurl.com/gneI4T

The Friends group meets on the SECOND Sunday of the month, 2pm - 4pm at the centre. All welcome.

A beautiful local park

The Rose Walker Community Centre sits in the grounds of the beautiful Cheadle Heath Park.

The park boasts a lovely green space, flower bed with two benches, a children's play area with swings, slides and a climbing frame, and a newly restored five-a-side football pitch.

Accces to the park can be made from:

  • Essex Avenue
  • Kent Road
  • Or the new Beacon Way (access to the park on foot only, cars can be parked in the Aurora Business Park, Pay and Display)

The park is perfect for families, for dog-walking (please pick up after your dog and use the bins provided!), football and picnics.
